Miyagi
Miyagi Prefecture is located on the eastern coast of Honshu, north of Tokyo. The prefecture is blessed with rich natural beauty, from the Pacific coastline to the western mountains and various national parks. Matsushima Town faces Matsushima Bay, which is dotted with around 250 pine-covered rocky islands. The town is also home to Zuiganji Temple, known for its treasure museum and cedar-lined paths.
