【CDW】

(Collision Damage Waiver) A system in which the rental car company covers repair costs (typically tens of thousands of yen) that customers would normally have to pay in the event of an accident. All Jcation rental car plans come with an all-inclusive price that already includes this coverage, so you can depart with peace of mind without worrying about additional costs after arrival.

NOC Compensation included

【NOC】(Non-Operation Charge) If a vehicle requires repair or special cleaning due to an accident or severe soiling, it temporarily cannot be rented to the next customer. [NOC Coverage] waives the Non-Operation Charge (NOC)—a fee customers would normally have to pay to the rental company during this period (typically tens of thousands of yen).
By adding this coverage together with the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), you can further reduce the amount you may need to pay in the event of an accident.

Note: All Jcation rental car plans include CDW. However, customers are responsible for the NOC unless NOC Coverage is included or selected.

【Discounts】

Early Bird Discount

A discount available when you book a certain number of days in advance (e.g., 14 or 30 days before the rental date).

Morning return discount

A discount available if you return the rental car by 12:00 PM (noon). (returns at 12:01 PM or later are excluded). Ideal if you have an early return flight.

Afternoon return discount

Discount: A discount available when the rental car pickup time is 12:00 PM (noon) or later. Ideal for travelers arriving on afternoon flights.

Weekday discount

A discount available when the rental is used on weekdays (Monday–Friday). Ideal for weekday trips or business travel.

Long-Term Discount

A discount available when the rental period is a certain number of consecutive days or longer. Ideal for long stays or workations.

Vehicle type commitment

Standard car rentals are usually booked by vehicle size or category (e.g., "Compact" or "Minivan"), so the specific model is not determined until you arrive at the rental office.
A "Guaranteed Car Model" plan ensures that you will receive the specific vehicle displayed at the time of booking.
Ideal if you prefer a car you’re familiar with or need a specific model for your trip.

No Refueling Required (Included)

Normally, rental cars must be returned with a full tank after refueling at a gas station.
This plan includes a service that allows you to return the car without refueling. It helps you avoid the hassle of finding a gas station in an unfamiliar area and saves valuable time before your flight.

No Refueling Required (Optional)

An optional service that waives the full-tank return requirement.
It can be applied by paying an additional fee during booking or at the counter on the day of pickup. Ideal if you want the flexibility to add this option based on your travel schedule.

ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) Card Rental

A service that allows you to rent an ETC card for use with the vehicle’s ETC onboard device for an additional fee.
Even if you do not have your own card or forget to bring it, you can pass through highway toll gates without stopping.
The toll fees incurred during your rental can be settled at the rental office when returning the car.

Online Payment

A payment method that allows you to complete the rental payment on the website at the time of booking using a credit card or deferred payment options. Since the payment process at the rental counter is skipped on the day of pickup, you can start your trip more smoothly after arrival.

Winter / Snow Tires (Studless)

Winter tires designed to provide better traction and safer driving on snowy or icy roads.
They are recommended (or may be required) when traveling to snowy regions or mountainous areas during winter to help prevent slipping and other accidents.

4WD (Four-Wheel Drive)

A vehicle in which engine power is delivered to all four wheels.
It provides better traction and stable driving on slippery surfaces such as snow, ice, or steep roads. Ideal for winter driving and outdoor trips.
