An International Driver’s Permit (IDP) valid in Japan is required. Please ensure you bring it with you when renting a car. Customers that do not possess the original license will not be able to rent a car.
Please note that if one of the designated drivers has been a licensed driver for less than three months, the driver must be accompanied by someone who has been licensed for at least three years.

In accordance with the law, the store cannot rent a car with a driver, nor refer a driver or arrange for one.
When travelling with pets, please ensure that they do not come into direct contact with the car by taking measures such as putting them in a cage. In the event that the pet comes into direct contact with the car, or if the car requires cleaning, the driver may be charged for the cost of cleaning and/or the Non-Operating Charge (NOC).
The car cannot be rented if the actual driver is different from the driver specified at the time of booking.
Please confirm at the time of booking where the car will be kept during the rental period (please note that some shops may not be able to keep the car).

- Confirmation
Please ensure that you carry the rental agreement papers with you during the rental period.
The customer is responsible for the rental car, including securing storage (parking) space and the daily upkeep of the car during the rental period.
In the event of a parking violation while using the rental car, the customer is responsible for paying the relevant fines (and/or towing costs).

- Rental Agreement, Terms & Conditions, Automobile Inspection Certificate
The customer must carry these documents with them during the rental period, as police or Land Transport Bureau staff may ask to see them.

- Car Return Notes
Please return the rental car with a full tank of petrol. Please note that some rental stores offer refueling upon returning the car.
If the car is refueled at a location other than the rental store, customers must provide a receipt.

- Return Times
Please contact the rental store in advance if changes need to be made to the specified return time or if customers will not be able to return the car on time.
Please contact the relevant rental store to confirm its opening hours. Departures or returns cannot be made outside of opening hours.
*In the event of a late return, customers will be charged an extension fee.
*Please note that extensions may be unavailable depending on availability.

- Other
Other terms and conditions not listed above are in accordance with the company’s rental terms and conditions.

- Collision Damage Waiver
Please note that insurance will not apply in the event that reports are not made to the police or if the customer is found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.

- Shuttle Services
Staff will pick customers up from the Fukuoka Airport International Terminal.
