Once you have completed a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email.
Please keep this email until the completion of your rental period, as it contains the details of your reservation and the location of the rental company's store.
2. What to do before heading to the pick-up (departure) store
- Have your driver's license ready
Staff will check your driver's license during the pick-up (departure) procedure, so please ensure to bring it with you on the day.
If there is more than one driver, all drivers must present their license.
- Check the means of transport and routes
On the day of your scheduled pick-up, you will be making your way to the pick-up store, hence it is a good idea to plan how you are going to get to the store.
In addition, many of the stores, like those listed below, offer shuttle services between the airport and the store, therefore customers using airports are encouraged to check the availability of shuttle services and the relevant meeting points.
- Stores with a counter inside the airport

- Stores located near the airport

3. Pick-up (Departure) Procedure
Upon arrival at the store, customers will complete the relevant pick-up (departure) procedures.
The main steps are as follows.
(Please note that steps may differ between stores.)
(Some stores may offer self-check-in services, and the procedures may differ.)
License Checks

Staff will check the driver's license of all drivers.
If there is more than one driver, all drivers must present their license.
Plan, Insurance and Compensation Explanation

Staff will explain the details of your reserved car, additional options, rental period, and insurance and compensation details.
Insurance and compensation information is especially important in the event of accident, so please be sure to inquire with staff about any questions or concerns you have.

Check the car's condition with staff

In this step, customers, together with staff, visually inspect their rental car for any existing scratches and/or dents.
This is an important step in order to avoid any unnecessary problems, as the car will be checked for any new damage during the return process.
Explanation of how to operate the car

Staff will guide you through aspects such as how to start the engine, how to use the navigation and audio systems, the type of fuel used and location of the fuel cap, and how to open and close the trunk.
Review and sign rental agreement

After going the relevant checks, sign the rental agreement.
The details of the agreement and compensation are stated clearly, so be sure to read them carefully.
Receive the key and it's time to depart

Once all formalities are completed, you will receive the keys to your rental car.
Please travel safely.
4. What to do before heading to the return store
- Fill up with fuel before returning

It is common practice to return rental cars with a full tank of fuel. Before returning to the rental store, be sure to fill the tank to the fullest.
Furthermore, customers will need to refuel at gas station designated by the rental car store or at a gas station located close to the store, so please check with the store in advance.
Please note that customers do not need to refuel if their plans include a 'no full tank on return' option.
- Hold onto your receipt

Be sure to keep your receipt with you after refueling.
You may be required to show it to staff when returning the car.
5. Return Procedure
After completing your preparations for returning your car, head to the store before your scheduled return time.
The main steps of the return procedure are as follows.
(Please note that steps may differ between stores.)
Arrive at the return store and park at the designated returns location

Some stores may have dedicated returns lanes or areas, so please follow the directions to park your car. For stores with no such lanes or areas, please park in the parking lot and complete the return procedure inside the store.
Staff double-check car condition

In this step, staff will again check the car for any new damage compared to when it was rented.
A check will also be made to ensure that the fuel tank is full (unless a full tank is not required).
Confirmation of insurance and compensation

In the unlikely event that there is new damage to the car, staff will check the coverage of your insurance and compensation and take the necessary action.
Confirm extension fees and additional charges

Additional charges may apply if the scheduled return time is exceeded or if additional options have been added during the rental period.
Return of keys

After all relevant checks have been made, return the keys to the staff.
If there are no additional procedures or issues, this completes the return procedure.
