\ Enjoy Bengara Dyeing in Front of Hankyu Ikeda Station /
\ Bengara Board-Clamped Shibori Dyeing Experience /

At our studio in the Sakaemachi Shopping Street near Hankyu Ikeda Station,
you can enjoy a board-clamped shibori (shape-resist dyeing) experience using "Bengara," a natural pigment derived from the earth.

In this plan, you will dye high-quality "Ise Cotton Tenugui (Japanese hand towel)" in your favorite colors and patterns.

Our friendly staff will carefully guide you step-by-step,
so first-timers, small children,
and solo female travelers can participate with ease.

■ Create Your Own Unique Design on Ise Cotton Tenugui
Using the traditional dyeing technique "Board-Clamped Shibori,"
you can make one-of-a-kind original hand towel.

▼ Beautiful Continuous Patterns Unique to Hand-Dyeing
By accordion-folding the fabric and clamping it with wooden blocks before dyeing,
bold and modern geometric patterns are created.
Handcrafted elements such as subtle color bleeding and shading make each piece truly unique with a natural, artistic touch.

Rich Variety of Colors to Choose From (Approx. 10 Shades)
Select and combine your favorite shades from around 10 types of Bengara dyes.
The atmosphere of the finished work changes completely depending on your color choices.

Eco-Friendly Natural Pigments
Bengara comes from the earth and returns to the earth, making it gentle on both people and the environment.
Because it requires very little water to dye, it is also highly regarded as an eco-friendly dyeing method.

■ Relax with a Drink After the Workshop
After finishing your workshop, we offer a warm beverage for you to unwind.
It is perfect for having fun with family and friends, as well as enjoying a relaxing time for couples or solo participants.
Come and make wonderful memories with us!
