After that, you can select your preferred fabric from a wide variety of textiles.

Many of the available fabrics are the same ones used for Ryusoen's traditional kimonos.
You can choose the same pattern as the Ryukyu attire you are wearing, match it with a complementary design, or combine two different fabrics.
Enjoy creating a unique Furoshiki starting from the fabric selection process.
 

Our Ryusoen staff will sew and tailor your chosen fabric into a completed Furoshiki.
While leaving the sewing to our staff, you will learn traditional Furoshiki wrapping techniques and how to arrange them into stylish bags.
 

Wrap, tie, and carry.
This is a fun hands-on workshop where you can learn the time-honored wisdom of Furoshiki while traveling.
 

You can take your finished Furoshiki home with you.
Using the wrapping styles you learned in the workshop, you can immediately head out for a stroll around the town with your new Furoshiki bag.

You will learn everything from basic Furoshiki wrapping to making a Furoshiki bag perfect for walking around town. These techniques are highly useful not just during your trip, but also in your daily life back home.
