Happy Raft offers a simple, self-catering guest house surrounded by nature.
Located about a 10-minute drive up a quiet mountain road, this traditional Japanese house sits tucked away like a hidden retreat.
Our home, Ōtoyo Town, is nestled in the mountains of Shikoku, blessed by the Yoshino River and surrounded by beautiful, untouched nature.
There are no convenience stores, no supermarkets, no vending machines… nothing at all.
And that’s exactly the point.
Instead, you’ll find the vibrant energy of the forest, the sound of birds singing, and the gentle flow of slow, peaceful time.
Step away from the busy world and experience a nostalgic atmosphere—like traveling back to a simpler time.
