This portion is referred to as the \"excess,\" and the compensation that waives this excess is known as the \"Collision Damage Waiver.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Example: Insurance and Compensation for Rental Car Company A<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Unlimited coverage per person for bodily injury (excess: \u00a550,000)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Property damage coverage: Up \u00a530 million per accident (excess: \u00a550,000)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vehicle coverage: Market value per accident (excess \u00a550,000 or \u00a5100,000)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers will be responsible for paying the relevant excess amount listed above in the event that they have not added the Collision Damage Waiver option to their reservation, while those customers who have added this option, they will be exempt from paying the excess amount.<br>At Jcation, all listed plans include the CDW in their price, meaning customers are protected in the event of an accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"swl-inline-color has-swl-deep-01-color\">\u203bThe CDW will not apply in the event that an accident is not reported to the police, involves a violation of the law, breaches the rental agreement, or in the event where the customer is deemed responsible for the use and management of the rental car.<\/span><br><span class=\"swl-inline-color has-swl-deep-01-color\">\u203bThe excess amount varies between rental car companies and cars.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"glossary_noc\">What Is the Non-Operation Charge and NOC Compensation?<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/oki-raku.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/term_noc.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14803\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>In the event that a rental car becomes unavailable for use by other customers due to repairs or cleaning necessitated by accidents, theft, breakdowns, damage, hit-and-run incidents or other reasons, the customer shall be responsible for the resulting loss of business to the rental car company during the relevant period.<br>This is known as a \"non-operation charge (NOC)\" or \"loss of use compensation,\" while the coverage that waives the NOC is called \"NOC Compensation.\"<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"200\"
